Straight answers/before you poke the map

A placement is digital visibility on the public map - a listing and a current painted share inside a country. Not land, property, equity, securities, or a return.

Your listing stays on the map and in its history. The painted share can shrink when others place more in the same country.

Charity: Charity = 25% of completed placement revenue excluding VAT, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-processing fees. Hosting, opex, and salary are not deducted before that 25%. A placement is not a tax-deductible donation. SpotMyMap is not itself a charity. Transfers follow the 25% rule only after paid placements complete.

No. The country is re-partitioned by contribution. You get a share; others shrink. Preview patches are approximate and translucent - not a permanent paint-over.

You choose Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bank payment, or Invoice for larger amounts. The map total is the same either way - SpotMyMap absorbs processing fees. €1 minimum stays. Live charges use a payment provider. Map activation waits on a signed webhook, not the success page alone. See /payments.

Yes for live map visibility. Placement stays while payment remains valid. Refunded, reversed, or successfully disputed payments may be suspended or removed from the live map. Details are in Terms.
