SpotMyMap is a visibility map first. Charity is not a side note - it is baked into the model. When real money flows, a fixed slice of completed placement revenue leaves with it. Until paid placements complete, this page is the promise - not a donation receipt.

OF PLACEMENT REVENUE → CHARITY

Charity = 25% of completed placement revenue excluding VAT, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-processing fees. Hosting, opex, and salary are not deducted before that 25%. After fees, before opex - that order does not change.

How itworks

  • You claim a spot on the map. That is a visibility placement, not a donation receipt.
  • When paid checkout is live, 25% of completed placement revenue (after VAT, refunds, chargebacks, and payment fees only - before hosting, opex, and salary) goes to causes the community helps pick.
  • Causes are chosen in the open. Totals will be published here once real placements begin - no mystery jar, and no fake "already donated" counters in demo.

Pickingcauses

Each month the map can run a public poll. You pick up to three causes. When the goal locks, the winning direction gets the next charity slice. You can also float a new idea from the feedback strip on the home page.
